Brentwood School Application Process

Step 1: Inquire

Once our Admissions Office has received your inquiry, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete an admissions application.

You will also receive an admissions packet, which includes the Brentwood School viewbook and other admissions-related materials.

Step 2: Apply

The online application process begins after an inquiry form is submitted. Please submit the Inquiry Form to receive information on how to create or update an applicant account and submit an admissions application.

Due to limited openings in grades 1-5, Brentwood School will only accept applications from families relocating to the Los Angeles area.

Our application includes a parent/guardian section. We will consider your application complete once you have submitted the $125 application fee by credit card or electronic check. If your family is applying for financial support, the application fee will be waived.

You may return to the application portal to review the status of your application.

Step 3: Submit Your Required Forms

Please distribute the following transcript request and recommendation forms to your child’s current school via our admissions portal.

Forms may also be downloaded and returned by email (wcsadmissions@bwscampus.com).

  1. Transcript Request Form
  2. Administrator Recommendation
  3. Elementary School Teacher Recommendation

Please have an authorized official at your school complete, sign, and return these forms by email to wcadmissions@bwscampus.com. Please include complete report cards, including grades K-5, and all standardized test scores.

Step 4: Apply for Financial Support

We recognize that a Brentwood School education is a major investment and can be a challenge for many families. We remain dedicated to helping families afford this educational choice and annually award approximately $10 million in financial support to students with demonstrated financial need. With financial support, many families discover that a Brentwood School education is within their reach.

If you are interested in applying for financial support, please visit the Apply for Financial Support page.

Our Financial Support application deadline is Friday, January 10, 2025.

DECISION NOTIFICATION

The Admissions Office will release decisions to applicant families at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025. Families of applicants will have until 12 noon on Friday, March 21, 2025 to enroll.

Communication

We ask parents/guardians to please provide a reliable email address that is checked frequently, as email has proven to be a quick and efficient way to answer your questions and to send confirmations and reminder notices throughout the admissions process. Should your email or home address change, please be sure to inform us so that we may update your file.
