Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone Breaks Her Own 400mH World Record To Win Olympic Gold

The womenโ€™s 400m hurdles was a head-to-head battle between Team USAโ€™s Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Dutch fan favorite Femke Bol.

After pulling one of the greatest anchor legs of all time in the mixed 4x400m relay, passing three competitors to win the Netherlands gold, it seemed like Bol may have been ready to edge out the most dominant 400m hurdler in the world, McLaughlin-Levrone.
